ISOLATION OF KAEMPFEROL-3-RUTINOSIDE FROM THE LEAF OF SIDEROXYLON FOETIDISSIMUM SUBSP. GAUMERI

Kaempferol-3-rutinoside ( 1 ), together with a -amyrin, beta -amyrin, taraxasteryl acetate and stigmastenol, were isolated from the organic crude extract of the leaves of Sideroxylon foetidissimum subsp. gaumeri . Identification of the various metabolites was carried out by analyzing their spectroscopic data and/or by comparing it with those reported in the literature.
